2 Centre Awards
Participation Award:
These will be presented at the end of season breakup.
Most Improved Award:
Is given out the boy & girl in each age group who has improved throughout the season. Improvement points will only be awarded for events competed on our oval at a Saturday morning competition.
Aged Championship:
On Presentation day Medallions will be awarded to first, second & third places for Age Champions. These awards are worked out by the points given for places on every Event over the whole season. Every age group is eligible & the three medals are awarded to both boys & girls separately. To receive this award you have to be a participating member at the end of the season.
Encouragement Award:
This award is given to one athlete per age group.
Throws Award:
This award is for the athlete who has an outstanding performance in throws.
Jumps Award:
Awarded for performance in high Jump ,Long Jump & Triple Jump over the whole season.
All Properties Middle Distance Award:
Jim Carlton Sprints Award:
This award is based on athletes performance across the sprints events.
McDonald's Achievement Awards
These awards are calculated from the averages of performance of Qld Little Athletics over the year.
Anyone achieving a Green Level has reached a good level of performance, but one which is within the reach of 95% of children.
A Red Level represents a VERY GOOD performance but is still achievable by about 65% of children
A Blue Level represents a EXCELLENT performance achievable by about 20% of young athletes.
By achieving the level in 3 EVENTS GROUPS athletes are presented at centre level with McDonald's awards. These entitle them to award at the local restaurants. To claim these awards athletes must hand in their McDonald cards, when they have achieved 3 groups in one level.
